NON COMPETITIVE ‘OFICINA PEQUENO CINEASTA’ EXHIBITION
Exhibition of short movies made during Oficina Pequeno Cineasta’s workshops in 2016 and 2017.
Oficina Pequeno Cineasta is a cinema workshop for children and teenegers, created by Daniela Gracindo in 2009. Since then, 31 classes have gone by and more than 60 shorts films have been made.
NON COMPETITIVE ‘SUSTAIN YOUR HISTORY’ EXHIBITION
Exhibition of international and national short movies that address environmental themes, produced by children and young people aged 8 to 17 in the categories: fiction, documentary, experimental and animation.
‘PROJETO CINEMA’ EXHIBITION
For the first time at the festival, this exhibition aims to highlight institutions that do a consistent work focused on teaching the audiovisual language for children and youth. This year we’ll watch the best films made by the “Curtas da Sá Pereira” project, which aims to approach students to the history of cinema and the needed steps to achieve an authoral and autonomous production.
SPECIAL EXHIBITION OF ‘TALLER TELEKIDS’ FILMS
Selection of films from Taller Telekids, Seville – Spain. Directed by Enrique A. Martínzez López and Jacqueline Sánchez Carrero. The project that started more than 20 years ago aims to introduce the world of cinema and television to children from an educational, constructive and critical perspective.
The short films made by the students aged 8 to 14 have been selected, so far, by 50 national and international festivals, and have already won 23 awards, including Best Director, Best Director, Best Documentary by children, among others.
